Privacy Policy

Effective October 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Lumen Loop mobile game (“the app”) and this website, both provided by Furkan Kaya (“we”, “us”), handle information.

1Summary

  • We do not ask for an account, your name, your email address or any other personal details.
  • Your progress stays on your device. We do not run servers for the game, and we do not collect usage analytics.
  • The app shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect device data to serve and measure ads, as described below.
  • Where the law requires it, personalized ads are shown only with your consent.
  • In-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We never see your payment details.

2Data stored on your device

Your profile is saved on your device only: your Embers and Moonstones, Lantern Workshop upgrades, Sanctuary level, unlocked spirits, the Codex, Depths, run statistics and your settings (sound, music, vibration, damage numbers and graphics quality). The app also keeps simple counters of the ads you have watched and when, so it can apply daily limits and wait times, and the time you last collected from the Sanctuary, which it compares with your device clock.

This data may be included in your device’s own backups (iCloud Backup or a computer backup on iPhone, Android backup on Android) if you have backups turned on. Apple and Google store backups under their own policies, and we cannot access them. Deleting the app, or choosing Reset progress in Settings, deletes this data.

3Advertising

The app shows rewarded ads, which you choose to watch for a reward, and occasional full-screen ads between runs, through Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC and its affiliates. There are no banner ads. To show ads, limit how often you see them, measure their performance and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:

  • your device’s advertising identifier (the Apple IDFA, only if you allow tracking, or the Android advertising ID);
  • your IP address and the approximate location derived from it;
  • device and app information, such as device model, operating system, language and app version;
  • ad interactions, such as ads shown and tapped, and diagnostic data about the SDK.

Google processes this data under its own policies. Learn more in How Google uses information from apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. We only receive aggregated reports from AdMob, such as the number of ads shown, which do not identify you.

4Consent and your choices

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google’s consent message before personalized ads are shown or information is stored on your device for advertising. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the privacy settings in the app. Without consent, you may still see non-personalized ads, which use limited data such as your approximate location.

On iPhone and iPad, the app asks for permission before your device’s advertising identifier is used for tracking. You can change this at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings › Privacy › Ads.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising. The device settings above let you do this.

5In-app purchases

The app offers, or will offer, optional in-app purchases, such as No Ads, the Starter Pack, Moonstone packs and a seasonal ticket. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google with your store account. We never receive your name, card or payment details: the store only tells the app which item was bought, and the app keeps that record on your device so purchases can be granted and restored. Whether you have bought No Ads is also used on your device to stop showing ads between runs.

6Notifications

If the app offers reminders, for example when your Light Tree is full, and you allow them, they are scheduled on your device as local notifications. No push service or server is involved. You can turn them off in your device’s notification settings.

7Device features

The app does not use your camera, microphone, contacts, photos or location. It uses vibration for feedback, which you can turn off in Settings, and plays sound only while it is open.

8Legal bases

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, personalized advertising and storing information on your device for advertising rely on your consent. Non-personalized ads, frequency limits, measurement and fraud prevention rely on the legitimate interest in funding a free game and keeping advertising safe. Processing purchases relies on performing the contract you enter into when you buy.

9App stores

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Apple and Google may collect information when you download or use apps, such as purchase history or crash reports you choose to share, under their own privacy policies. They may give us aggregated, anonymous statistics, such as download counts and sales.

10Children

The app is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

11This website

This website is a static site hosted on Cloudflare. It uses no cookies, analytics or ads. Your language choice is saved in your browser’s local storage. Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site, as described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

12Emails

If you email us, for example about a purchase, we use your email address and the details you send only to help you, and delete them when they are no longer needed.

13Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to its processing. We do not hold personal information that identifies you, other than emails you send us. Requests about advertising data are handled by Google through the choices described above, and purchase records are held by Apple or Google. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

14Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
