Star Solve

Privacy Policy

Effective October 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Star Solve mobile game (“the app”) and this website, both provided by Furkan Kaya (“we”, “us”), handle information.

01Summary

  • You can play without an account. Signing in with Apple or Google is optional and only used to sync your progress.
  • If you sign in, we store your sign-in identifier, email address and name (if provided) and your game progress in Google Firebase.
  • The app shows ads from Google AdMob: an occasional full-screen ad after a solved level, and optional rewarded videos. Google may collect device data to serve and measure ads, as described below.
  • Where the law requires it, personalized ads are shown only with your consent, and on iPhone and iPad only if you allow tracking.
  • The app offers optional in-app purchases. Apple processes the payment and RevenueCat keeps a record of what was bought. We never see your payment details.
  • We do not use third-party analytics in the app and we do not sell your personal information.

02Information we collect

Without an account, your game progress (levels, coins, themes, skins, statistics, daily challenge results and settings) is stored on your device only.

If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive from the provider a unique account identifier and, depending on what you allow, your name and email address. Apple may let you hide your email address. We use them to identify your account and to sync your progress. Your progress (current level, coins, unlocked themes and skins, selected appearance, statistics and daily challenge results) is then stored in Google Firebase, so that it follows you to another device.

If you send feedback from the app, we receive the email address and message that you enter, and we use them only to reply and to improve the app.

Like any online service, the services we use receive technical data such as your IP address and device information when the app connects to them.

03Advertising

The app shows ads through Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC and its affiliates: an occasional full-screen ad after a solved level, and optional rewarded videos that you choose to watch to triple the coins of a level. There are no banner ads, and ads never appear in the middle of a puzzle, in the tutorial or in the daily challenge. To show ads, limit how often you see them, measure their performance and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:

  • your device’s advertising identifier (the Apple IDFA, only if you allow tracking);
  • your IP address and the approximate location derived from it;
  • device and app information, such as device model, operating system, language and app version;
  • how you interact with ads, such as ads shown, watched and tapped;
  • crash, performance and other diagnostic data.

If you allow tracking on iPhone or iPad, Google may use this data, including the IDFA, to show you ads based on your activity in other companies’ apps and websites. Google processes this data under its own policies. Learn more in How Google uses information from apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. We only receive aggregated reports from AdMob, such as the number of ads shown, which do not identify you.

The app asks AdMob for ads suitable for a general audience (content rating PG).

04In-app purchases

The app offers optional in-app purchases: coin packs and Remove Ads. Payments are processed by Apple with your Apple Account, and we never receive your name, card or payment details. Purchases are managed with RevenueCat, which receives your purchase history (which items you bought and when) and an app user ID, so that purchases can be granted and restored. If you are signed in, this ID is your account identifier; otherwise it is a random identifier created by the app. RevenueCat processes this data on our behalf under the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

05Consent and your choices

The app uses Google’s consent tool (User Messaging Platform). If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, it asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown or information is stored on your device for advertising. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the privacy options in the settings of the app, shown where these choices apply. Without consent, you may still see non-personalized ads, which use limited data such as your approximate location.

On iPhone and iPad, the app shows Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before your device’s advertising identifier is used for tracking. The game is fully playable if you decline, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

Depending on where you live, for example in some US states, you may have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising. Where this applies, Google’s consent tool lets you opt out in the app’s privacy options, and the device settings above also limit ad tracking.

You can buy Remove Ads to stop the full-screen ads. Rewarded videos stay optional.

06Reminders

If you turn on streak reminders, the app schedules them on your device, at most two a day, in the evening, and only to remind you about the daily challenge. They are local notifications: no push service or server is involved. You can turn them off in the app or in your device’s notification settings.

07Service providers

We rely on the following providers to run the app. Each processes information under its own policy.

  • Google Firebase (Authentication, Realtime Database, Cloud Functions): sign-in, progress sync and delivering feedback to us. See the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In: the sign-in providers you choose. See Apple’s privacy policy and the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Google AdMob: advertising, as described above.
  • RevenueCat: in-app purchase management, as described above.

Some of these providers are located outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, they rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

08Retention and deletion

We keep your account data and synced progress for as long as your account is active. To delete them, email us from the address of your account and we will delete your account data and progress from our systems. Progress stored on your device is removed when you delete the app. Purchase records are held by Apple and by RevenueCat, and advertising data by Google, under their own policies.

09Legal bases

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, personalized advertising and storing information on your device for advertising rely on your consent. Non-personalized ads, frequency limits, measurement and fraud prevention rely on the legitimate interest in funding a free game and keeping advertising safe. Account sign-in and progress sync rely on performing the service you ask for. Processing a purchase relies on performing the contract you enter into when you buy.

10App stores

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect information when you download or use apps, such as purchase history or crash reports you choose to share, under its own privacy policy. It may give us aggregated, anonymous statistics, such as download counts.

11Children

The app is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

12This website

This website is a static site hosted on Cloudflare. It uses no cookies, analytics or ads. Your language choice is saved in your browser’s local storage. Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site, as described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

13Emails

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you, and delete them when they are no longer needed.

14Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to its processing. Email us to exercise these rights over your account data. Requests about advertising data are handled by Google through the choices described above. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

15Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
