P1Summary

  • We do not ask for an account, your email address or any other personal details. We do not run servers for the game, and we do not collect usage analytics.
  • Your progress, garage, currencies and purchase records stay on your device.
  • In Wi-Fi races, your player name and car are shared directly with the other players on the same network.
  • The app shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect device data to serve and measure ads, as described below.
  • In-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We never see your payment details.

P2Data stored on your device

Your profile (career stars, records, levels, missions, daily rewards, rivals, garage, gold, gems and Blitz Pass progress), your ghost laps, your settings, the player name you choose and the record of your purchases are saved on your device only.

This data is included in your device’s own backups (iCloud Backup or a computer backup on iPhone, Android backup on Android) if you have backups turned on. Apple and Google store backups under their own policies, and we cannot access them. Deleting the app deletes this data.

P3Local multiplayer

When you host or join a Wi-Fi race, the app looks for other players on your local network and then exchanges game data directly between the devices in the race: your player name, your car and its paint and parts, and race data such as positions, hits and results. The other players can see your player name. Nothing is sent to us or through any server, and the data is discarded when the race ends.

On iPhone and iPad, this needs the Local Network permission, which you can change in Settings › Privacy & Security › Local Network. Choose a player name that does not reveal who you are if you play on a network you share with strangers.

Same-screen races happen entirely on one device.

P4Motion sensors

If you choose tilt steering, the app reads your device’s motion sensors to turn the car. These readings are used instantly on your device and are never stored or sent anywhere.

P5Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app schedules them on your device, at most one a day and never at night. To pick a good time, it remembers the hours you usually play, and this stays on your device. They are local notifications: no push service or server is involved. You can turn them off in Settings › Notifications or in your device’s notification settings.

P6In-app purchases

The app offers optional in-app purchases, such as gem packs, No Ads, the starter pack and the Blitz Pass premium track. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google with your store account. We never receive your name, card or payment details: the store only tells the app which item was bought, and the app keeps that record on your device so purchases can be granted and restored. Whether you have made a purchase is also used on your device to stop showing ads between races.

P7Advertising

The app shows rewarded ads, which you choose to watch for a reward, and occasional ads between races, through Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC and its affiliates. To show ads, limit how often you see them, measure their performance and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:

  • your device’s advertising identifier (the Apple IDFA, only if you allow tracking, or the Android advertising ID);
  • your IP address and the approximate location derived from it;
  • device and app information, such as device model, operating system, language and app version;
  • ad interactions, such as ads shown and tapped, and diagnostic data about the SDK.

Google processes this data under its own policies. Learn more in How Google uses information from apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. We only receive aggregated reports from AdMob, such as the number of ads shown, which do not identify you.

P8Consent and your choices

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google’s consent message before personalized ads are shown or information is stored on your device for advertising. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the privacy settings in the app. Without consent, you may still see non-personalized ads, which use limited data such as your approximate location.

On iPhone and iPad, the app asks for permission before your device’s advertising identifier is used for tracking. You can change this at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings › Privacy › Ads.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising. The device settings above let you do this.

P9Legal bases

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, personalized advertising and storing information on your device for advertising rely on your consent. Non-personalized ads, frequency limits, measurement and fraud prevention rely on the legitimate interest in funding a free game and keeping advertising safe. Processing purchases relies on performing the contract you enter into when you buy, and local multiplayer relies on providing the race you asked to join.

P10App stores

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Apple and Google may collect information when you download or use apps, such as purchase history or crash reports you choose to share, under their own privacy policies. They may give us aggregated, anonymous statistics, such as download counts and sales.

P11Children

The app is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

P12This website

This website is a static site hosted on Cloudflare. It uses no cookies, analytics or ads. Your language choice is saved in your browser’s local storage. Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site, as described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

P13Emails

If you email us, for example about a purchase, we use your email address and the details you send only to help you, and delete them when they are no longer needed.

P14Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to its processing. We do not hold personal information that identifies you, other than emails you send us. Requests about advertising data are handled by Google through the choices described above, and purchase records are held by Apple or Google. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

P15Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
